Before all facts are known, issue a ready holding statement within minutes saying "we know, we're acting" — not silence that invites speculation.

Before writing, describe reader in 5 sentences: age, job, knows, doesn't know, decision he makes.

When he opens sensitive topic, say "tell me more" vs reply.

Don't ask "do we need another hire?" — ask "if we started today with nobody, who'd we hire first?".

In few-shot, deliberate variety (positive/negative/edge case) matters more than count.
