Every difficult behavior hides an unmet need — practice the question that reveals it instead of judging it.
Goal
Shift from labeling behavior ("bad" or "annoying") to decoding it, by searching for the psychological or physical need it's trying to express.

When a bothersome behavior appears (yelling, refusal, defiance), pause before labeling. Don't say "bad" yet.
